With 4Industry being a technology-first company, the Development Experience (DX) is very important to us. We need your help with that! 4Industry is therefore looking for eager and interested Software Engineering students. Do you want a dynamic internship focused on automation and are you eager to develop yourself and your skills? Then this DevOps Engineering Internship might be the opportunity for you!
What will you do?
A crucial step in DX is the automation of repetitive processes such as building, testing and deploying our applications. Though we have already automated multiple steps of our CI/CD flow, there is always room for improvement.
In this internship you will research, design and build a CI/CD pipeline that will improve the lives of all of the developers. Think about: checking for best practices through linting, quality control through automated testing or automatic documentation. Of course, there is also a lot of room for your input and creativity.
In this internship, the Tech Stack you will be working with (but not limited to), is as follows:
Java / Kotlin / Jetpack Compose (Android)
Swift / SwiftUI (iOS)
Azure DevOps (pipelines and repositories)
Moreover, your scope of work will also include:
Interviewing our development team what their current challenges are.
Researching what is needed for setting up the CI/CD pipeline of the future.
Advising on what steps we can take to improve the daily lives of our developers.
Build a proof of concept that can (and will) be integrated in our CI/CD pipeline.
